If you wish to send us an e-mail with contents requiring protection, we would urgently advise you to encrypt it, in order to avoid their unauthorized perusal or falsification in the transmission process. If you have provided us with them, we will keep your personal data confidential and handle them in keeping with the provisions of the Telemedia Act, Federal Data Protection Act and other laws protecting your privacy and informational self-determination, as well as the statutory data protection requirements and this data privacy statement.

Every time our website is visited, access data are stored in a log file on the server of our provider (server log files). These data are collected for technical reasons and only analysed for improving the stability and functionality of our website and for statistical reasons without relating to your person. The data are neither disclosed nor put to other uses. We reserve the right, however, to monitor the server log files post-hoc if specific cues indicate an unlawful use.

Data disclosure to third parties
We will disclose personal data to third parties where this is necessitated by statutory requirements or required for contract performance, for example to the bank engaged for handling payments, or to service providers for checking the credit rating. There is no further data disclosure unless required by applicable laws and regulations or unless you have explicitly consented to it. Where specialized service providers need to be used, we select them carefully and monitor them regularly. These service providers only process personal data at our behest and strictly in keeping with our instructions, based on corresponding data processing agreements. There is no data disclosure to third parties without explicit consent, e.g. for promotional purposes. The data processing is based on GDPR section 6.1.b, which permits data processing for the performance of contracts or pre-contractual measures.

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of their storage no longer applies. They can be stored for longer where this is required by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or other provisions. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period required by one of the mentioned standards expires, unless their further storage is necessary to conclude or perform a contract.
